![]() The mission of our Campaign, creating a more empowering student experience, will propel Spelman students to the highest level of excellence. Three initiatives significantly enhance this experience: Spelman Museum of Fine Art A nationally influential traveling exhibition launched in 1996, Bearing Witness: Contemporary Works by African American Women Artists, inspired our museum's unique emphasis on artwork by and about women of the African Diaspora. Since then our acclaimed exhibits have attracted patrons who are committed to our mission. Donors who care deeply about the arts can have a significant impact on our students, the city, and under-served communities who all benefit from this one-of-a-kind asset. Women's Research & Resource Center A pioneer in teaching, research, and advocacy, the Center nurtures our students' critical thinking about many issues, including human rights, healthcare, and leadership development. By raising $1 million to match the Ford Foundation's million-dollar challenge grant, Spelman will advance the Center's pioneering work in teaching and research. Residence Hall Renovations The Suites, Spelman's newest residence hall, was built to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards, and exemplifies Spelman's commitment to sustainability. Modernizing every hall will nurture another kind of sustainability — enduring sisterly bonds. Support the heart, soul, and daily life of Spelman students by making your contribution today.
